Mochi-it’s what’s for dinner

Should a first blog be an introduction? I would say no. So, I will not tell you how I own a Maternity Boutique in the best city “New Orleans”.  I will also not say how my life will turn to Dad status come November and how I am super stoked! I just did an intro- who cares? You can read more about me in the “About Me" section. :)

WHAT’S UP PEEPS! (in my LiL Jon voice)

The other weekend we took some friends to the Orange Couch located in the middle of the Marigny.  Love this place. Great neighborhood hangout and they serve Mochi.  Mochi are these little chewy balls of ice cream. I think they are made of rice paper stuffed with differ types of ice cream. YUM! It’s like eating a frozen marshmallow on the outside and the inside ice cream part is like eating “dippin dots”.  We sat there eating them as if it were Saturday morning downing doughnut holes and sipping coffee.  Always craving Mochi! Has anyone else experienced this magical mystery food?

Earlier, I stated how my son Jameson will be born in November.  I can’t wait to be a dad! I am currently reading the book “Letters from Dad” by Greg Vaughn. This book is helping me learn how to communicate my love and blessing to Jameson through handwritten letters.  Something he can read later in his adult life.  I think it’s pretty cool to do this for him and his future siblings. One leather journal and $150 ink pen later I am becoming a journalist. Just kidding about the ink pen but they are expensive. I’ll just stick to the Walgreens ink pen for now :) (we will see how this goes)

I plan to blog about everything (Life, Baby Jameson, and my days at the Maternity Boutique) so I hope y’all follow me!  By the way I am absolutely horrible at grammar but plan to improve.

Peace!
